Symbols of the A.A. (Astrum Argentum)

Emblems of the Esoteric Magickal order Astrum Argentum, or Silver star, an initiatory magical order formed by Aleister Crowley upon his expulsion from the Golden Dawn, and friend George Cecil Jones. When Crowley became the leader of the Ordo Templi Orientis, it became the outer order of the A.A. Included are the symbols of the A.A. and the Ordo Templi Orientis, or O.T.O. The symbols are as follows:

The Sigillum Sanctum Fraturnitatus A A- the Holy seal of the Brotherhood of the Silver Star:

The outer portion, the septagram, is the symbol of the outer order, and represents the ceiling of the Vault of the Adepti (5=6 grade, G.D.), and the symbol of Babalon, a holy name of Binah. It corresponds to the High Priestess of the Tarot, whose title in Thelemic Tarot decks is “Priestess of the silver star.” Using the Hebrew system of gematria, the name Babalon enumerates to 156. Crowley devised a secret mathematical formula containing seven sevens:

It is a stylized version of this formula that appears in the center of the seal. The seal of the College of Thelema:

This symbol was once the personal lamen of CoT founder Phyllis Seckler, and was later adopted as the official seal of the College of Thelema. Its symbolism is borrowed from the lamen of the Martinists; the Hebrew letter yod in the triangle is replaced by the Eye of Horus. The Dove and chalice are borrowed from traditional Christian symbolism representing the descent of the Holy Spirit and a Chalice containing the sacrament of the mass.

The seal of the Cancellarius, or chancellor, an officer of the order:

It may be fair to add there are adepts peaking in from time to time. The AA has been around a long damn time just under different names, e.g., Buddha in our eyes was a 10°=1 referred to as the grade of Ipsissismus. Getting dogmatic is truly not of us, but getting real ones-self most assuredly is. We eventually strive to attain to K&C of our HGA (Knowledge and coversatuon of our Holy Guardian Angel), but even that is just part of the journey. We most assuredly are not these barabric evil people who sacrifice children to satan. In fact, we are more the less somewhat Nietzchean in the sense that we need to figure out our own rules and follow a rather sophisticated autonomous nature. Ihave a facebook group I began with another adept and we are very laid-back and open to any questions or criticisms. Look up A.’. A.’. Astrum Argentum in facebook groups. I have moderators from all the major lineages and we are all aware of a magical current that exists regardles if one believes it does or not. Well directed autonomy and ethical progression procedures are standard. Considering there is a magical current, one needs to remain grounded in how he/she expresses his or herself in relations to it and one another. I have yet to meet a real jerk but there are a lot of big egos…the irony there, though is by natural progression will annihilate the ego alone. We must all be mindful that the #Khabs is in the khu, not the khu in the khabs’….if that last phrase confused you a little bit, I borrowed a verse from’ Liber Al vel Legis’…..we would be welcoming to all interested to come check us out. Argue with us if you will, but let’s just expect differences of opinion to be handled in a classy manner. Frater Aiwass Hymn 156, 333

The initials in “A.’.A.’.” stand for Astron Argon, not Astrum Argentum. It is Greek, not Latin.

Actually, as I’m sure you’re aware, the true name is not known or divulged to outsiders. I am aware some elaborate gematric calculations were used to arrive at this ‘revelation,’ but I have seen no evidence it was the actual, original chosen name (a source close to Crowley once argued it stoof for “Atlantean adepts’). Astrum Argentum or even Argentum Astrum are both fitting with consensus and the historical record, so I will continue to use those.

Jennifer is absolutely right.

Some people are so easily tricked and misled and feel without a doubt that they are the right ones. I honestly have been deceived before, Satan is one smart and tricky guy. He tells you that you are right before you can even consider “maybe I am wrong.”
Albert Pike spills the beans as well as others that “Lucifer is the light” you receive, however what good is His ‘light’ if it is dark-light?

AND If Lucifer is here, why do people fall for the same “I will make you like Gods” bullshit? Adam and Eve fell for that shit and right away it was obvious she made a long-term change in humanity up until this very day.

What good is having the whole world if a man has no soul? Satan was a “liar and murder from the start.” Those with a conscious & awake soul will know the truth from a deception. You can not fully trust a murderous liar who despises all of humanity.

I hope you give it thought, instead of writing it all off as bullshit.
Don’t let all those fake-type-religious people ruin the actual message; God is about Loving and accepting others and being good to each other.

I respect all religions and do not judge anyone as I know how imperfect I am, life is about learning to get along with different people and working together to overcome all the ‘hardships’ in life. I have tried every religion out there and feel it was worth all the learning to come full circle and know I have tried multiple belief systems and I am not “settling” for what I was raised around.

@Steve you should never settle for what works for someone else. Good puts in each of our hearts the path he wants us to take. No matter the struggles or blessings he leads us where we are suppose to be and what we are suppose to do. We are to only love each other and help where it is needed. God doesn’t ask much just that we acknowledge that he exists and that he love us. You should continue to search for what God has for you, you might be very surprised to find out he really does want you too be happy. #lionessledbytheking

Mr.Gutierrez do you intact work for A&M? I’m planning on finishing my bachelors in psychology there starting next fall. I am unaware of many people in this area involved in the esoteric societies. If possible I would like to contact you for some possible networking.

I simply wanted to say that Astrum argentum is a small group that tries to follow the Teachings of Aliester Crawley and after analizing their Pedagological Ontology, I think it’s essential for some Christians to join this goup to evangelize the Word of Our Lord Jesus Christ among some of its confused members. God bless all of you!!

Noel E. Gutierrez is not a member of The Astrum Argentum. He is a Member of The Lions Club in Alabama and he works for A.& M. University.

Symbols change from time to time. We all learn from the Spiritual Aspect of Symbols.
The Golden Dawn left symbols that are now used by modern esoteric groups.
Pax Vobiscum!!

Snark was not intended but the description does clearly say,

“This symbol was once the personal lamen of CoT founder Phyllis Seckler, and was later adopted as the official seal of the College of Thelema.”

Please see the link below for the seal of the CoT

I have just joined the ASTRUM ARGENTUM and I’m commencing the study that take about one year. I think the Rosicrucian Lineage is a safe way to improve onself in life.
Religion is also very good. May Our Lord Jesus Christ bless all of you now and always!!

Albertus Magister July 4, 2013 at 1:06 am

I heard Noel E. Gutierrez is a Polyglot because he was heard speak more than two or three languages very well. He may work for the The New World Order or something like that.

The Symbology of the Astrum Argentum has a deep and powerful meaning for those of us who had the fortune of going through Masonic/Martinist/Rosicrucian Initiations in our lives. All groups are similiar in one way or another. There is no true Rosicrucian Order because they all come from the same source and end in the same destination. Like the old saying in Italian, “Tutte le Strade Conduconno a Roma”(All Roads lead to Rome”).This is all true. I was blessed with the Knights Templar Initiation in Miami and I realized that all the Secret Societies have onething in Common with is the 32 Degree Secret.

God bless you all!!!

came to think of it.. if the holy graal or whatever it is called is the womb of a woman then the allseeing eye is the penis hole where the sperm comes out from!

religion is so dirty and filthy.. look on a male penis in ertction from above with the foreskin backdrawn there you have gods eye roflmao. :P .

see there is no god and will never be. i know offtopic i did stare at the triangle with gods eye in it and then i got the idea! stare long enough and keep the penis in mind at same time and you see same as i did. as i said OFFTOPIC sorry i did ruin it all. but it is true looks very alike what i said. honestly. silly easy fooled humans lol.
