My understanding is that most Jews that adhere to the Hebrew scriptures understand that mixing of any other type of faith, worship, idols (symbols) is an abomination and detestable to the true God Yahweh. “I Yahweh (Jehovah) am your God and you must not bow down to any other gods, for I am a jealous God exacting exclusive devotion.” (Exodus 20:1-5) Isaiah reiterated how gods people should NOT wear/have anything (graven images/charms/symbols) that they believe brings praise, honor or glory to their God Yahweh. (Isaiah 42:8) Whether or not people adhere to that scriptural command is of no consequence for many, as faith and worship are two different things. The mixing of faiths and beliefs, and having a form of worship in such has always been around according to the bible record of the Jews, and apparently today with modern Jews who may incorporate Kabbala (mysticism). People do what they want. Obedience is what God wants.

Actually, Jewish paganism has always been a thing, and is distinct from both kabbalah and “mixing with other faiths”. The rabbis just wish it wasn’t the case. I recommend Raphael Patai’s book “The Hebrew Goddess”. You might also be interested in Jewitchery, Canaanite paganism, and/or the Am Ha-aretz.

You’re not wrong that most Jews believe Judaism to be purely monotheistic. But then, most Jews also don’t know that two of the main words that are usually translated “God” and “the Lord” are actually plurals in the Hebrew (Adonai and Elohim).

It was my understanding that the star of David symbolises the point at which the light that god first created enters the highest point of this realm and is turned into a solid object at a much lower level in this case our physical human presence. It should be a seven pointed star and I think its called the merkabar (that’s probably spelt wrong) I could be wrong though. As for it being good or evil who knows.

What you’re describing is the Tree of Life, through which the light of creation is said to have filtered. It has ten sephirot (virtues or aspects of God).

The hexagram (Star of David) appears in nearly every culture and has only been associated with Jews for a few hundred years.

This is out of curiosity and sadly it won’t stop plaguing my poor mind. One day was on daily run as usual until I found a fence that knocked down exposing an abandoned houses backyard. I took pictures if only I could show them but on the wall were different symbols like the pentagram, water symbols and sun symbols. I also found the words “Human Paean ” , which mean human God. All this gave me an eerie feeling but I’m a risk taker at heart and took a couple steps in seeing different marks I have never seen anywhere then a tall black silhouette was painted in there and on the head were there white dots formed into a triangle. Could someone please let me know what this is I’m afriad, it’s close to my house and it frightens me and gives me a bad feeling. Thanks

Oh please, the star of David was NEVER a demonic sign, it was the shape that the the shaddows that the olden time menorahs would make. You must either really hate God or be daft and hate Israel (God’s chosen) to say that all the Hebrew writings and the Jewish star is demonic!

Where does it say that it is demonic? It says it is Kasbah is tic. Learn your history.

Before it was called the Star of David it was known as Solomons Seal. And before that it was called the Blazing Star. It is not a dark occult symbol. It is the upward pointing triangle and the downward pointing triangle combined. The upward pointing triangle, or the Blade, represents the left brain or masculine qualities. The downward pointing triangle, or the Chalice, represents the right brain or the feminine qualities. They are combined to represent balance between them. If you can bring balance then you will find enlightenment.

The “star of David” is not the star of David. It is the star of a false God Remphan. The Bible clearly states this. But hey, who reads the bible anyway?

Acts 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

2 Timothy 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Someone was living in my house who had been a friend of mine in the past. Near the end things were not good. When she left I found a jar with crushed bone fragments in it which was then stuffed with a pillow case. On the pillow case was drawn the chaos symbol that I saw above with another symbol that looks similar to a lower case e extended into a double arrow on the end and a swirl on the front. Inside the pillow case was my picture and some of my hair… Does anyone know what this is?

Jennifer October 8, 2015 at 2:39 pm

Sounds to me like she may have been trying to frighten you. The various elements are not things you would find together (or in a pillow) in any organized system I’m aware of.

Agreed. Make you paranoid?
You could try apologizing profusely and being extra kind to her.

So here’s something for an expert. While in prison I entered a deep meditation through personalized gnostic Christian excersizes when somehow I began autoscribing. Never happened before. lo and behold, strange symbol or seal appears with an association to what I consider a fairly malevolent spirit, or demon. The outter ring appears to be braided rope in three band widths. Then there is an upward triangle that is centered in the ring and touches with all three points. Inside this triangle is a circle with a triangle within it. Protruding from the 2nd triangle is a hooked V shape at the top point, a straight line from the left point and a crossed L from the right point. Inside the 2nd triangle is another circle with an F shape coming off the right side and an extended r???? with the stem coming from the circle. Finally, to the right of this collection of stuff still inside the first ring, is a slightly curved to the left line at a 45 degree angle or so to the center of the first ring with an O on the left side and two on the right above/below each other… Then the fun part is the ten symbols edging the first ring almost like clock numbers… Haven’t found any of this anywhere, any ideas?

I’ve got a picture of what I’m thinking about, so if you’d like, I’ll send it to you. Basically, it’s a regular 5-point star in a circle, with what looks like a flame surrounding it. When I first saw this, I was thinking it looked like the logo of the band Godsmack.
Where did that come from? What does it represent?

Reply

Jon Orton November 8, 2015 at 4:32 pm

It’s a symbol from the tv series ‘Supernatural”. The main characters have it tattooed on them. It’s a ward against demon possession.

JVDM, I think you are really missing the point here, mixing religion to practical spirituality leads one to absolute error. A brick wall that stands between one and the truth.
Jenifer made a point up there and to BUTRESS on what she was trying to explain, Kabbalah could be seen as a mystical aspect of Jewish Christian religion. It is the practical aspect of the theory in both Chrustian and Jewish religion put together. There is really no need to start confusing truth with fanaticism.

Ok so. I have noticed, seen an been told that my chakra points align on the front side of my body to make a pentagram facing up and on my back the form a pentagram facing down. By putting together the may or at least seem to form the christ grid symbol. What dies that mean?

I found a strange symbol of a circle with an upsidedown triangle with its base in the middle of the circle and the points touching the right middle, left middle, and the very bottom. Does anyone know what this is or what it means?

If that’s all there was to it, it sounds like an element symbol from alchemy.

I tolk a picture in Ukraine (President Yanokovitj summerhouse) he had 3 huge crosses planted in the garden. On the crosses are crucified eagles.

What is the meaning of this?

Reply

Jennifer February 23, 2014 at 10:17 am

I believe the elite riot police there are referred to as golden eagles or similar. I assume it would relate to that.

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text
in your post seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with
web browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem resolved soon.

and if the numbers 23/93 have any meaning

Reply

JinSan March 2, 2016 at 3:36 pm

A triangle with an eye in it is commonly known as the “all seeing eye” and the triangle is representative to the top of a pyramid. the eye is often the eye of horus (bearer of light, god in egyptian mythology, some say respresent Lucifer). Certain people link it to teh illuminati. Check the dollar bill for a pyramid with an eye in it. Same one? then that’s it.

The “pentogram” you have listed in satanic symbols is actually an upside down program. the program symbolizes the natural order of the universe, with the upper point representing the spirit. Christianity borrowed from this in its holy trinity. turning it upside down is to up-end this order.

the Kabbalah isn’t just Jewish dude. Ever heard of the kabalistic tree of life, which is a basic diagram of the human body and its power points, A.K.A chakras. Ignorance is better left unsaid.

Reply

Semibel March 4, 2010 at 11:49 pm

Umm what Kabbalistic symbols do here? They should be moved to Judaism, Kabbalah is mystic tradition of Judaism, like muslim sufi or christian mysticism, no occultic shit.
Ask question to any Jew, the best for Chassidic for example.
Merkaba occultism fits here better.

Reply

Bee September 30, 2013 at 1:37 pm

Semibel,

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’s occult system was largely based on Kabbalah knowledge adapted to Hermetic principles in the Middle Ages. So yes, it fits, since all serious Hermetic traditions, such as the A.’.A.’. and the Rosy-Cross, study Kabbalah (not the Jewish one) since the 19th Century.

Reply

Jvdm May 6, 2014 at 5:43 pm

Sorry, but judaic and kabbalistic are NOT the same. In fact, kabbala is a mystic religion that IS occult and has nothing to do with JHWH. It’s the occult religion king Solomon turned to, when he turned away from God and the religion of the Farazees, that Jesus opposed to. There’s a difference between the mystic jews and the jews who believe in one God, to Whom mysticism is an abomination. It seems to me that the first group is just hiding under the umbrella of being jewish, so that no one can see them for the satanic worshippers they really are. Ofcourse they would deny it, if you asked them, but if they would really believe in the one true God, they would know how He feels about mysticism. Putting the two religions in the same category is really a mistake.

Reply

Jennifer May 8, 2014 at 5:22 am

I kniow a large number of Jewish people who would disagree with you. Kabbalah is absolutely a part of normative Judaism, especially in Orthodox Judaism.
