Can someone help me? I’m looking for a good anchient Greek symbol for Apollo for a talisman or Pendant. Does anyone know a good symbol for that? Something to do with the Greek god of archery, prophecy, truth, sun, music and the arts. Any ideas, I can’t find one.

The Lyre is often associated with Apollo, as it was a gift presented to him by Hermes.

That Hercules knot looks exactly like a square knot like the kind used in Boy Scouts of America

Auch wenn das Wissen darum selbst mir im täglichen Alltag manches mal aus dem Fokus meiner Aufmerksamkeit entweicht ist
mir klar, dass ich mich mehrmals am Tag daran erinnern muss, das es so ist.

Hi, I have seen several Roman rings with a symbol very similar to the Awen glyph, but with 4 rays..there several on ebay currently
UK ebay item 321192115974 and item 331018604541
Some have dots along side the “rays” some don’t, they could be a stylized man or flower, but wondered if this was a known symbol?
Many thanks for any help you can give

Howard, I’ve got a couple of roman rings with similar designs, and it is my understanding the ‘rays’ are meant to represent serpents.

My son found a rock st the river with a few faint symbols, seems to be an outer square with a solid square in the middle and a diagonal line from top left to bottom right. Other squares with similar symbols attached to it. Seem to be in the rock not engraved or painted.
Any idea’s?

Do you have a picture, perhaps? Your son may have found a fossil.

Looking for symbols in threes deminishing in size to a point on a stone that appears to be a compass. Has arches with a stem, not touching on one side and slashes of a declining nature on the other. Both in threes getting smaller to a point. This stone has many unexplained feachers with a center pollished tapered hole with a petrified stem still in the center. Has pitting as if acidic usage for polorization. Center line markings top and bottom, front to rear with random markings by twos on same center line. Need to find symbols or meanings of symbols! May have to do with magnetic grid line use to navigate! Any help is welcome!
